Job summary

Rivers Edge by Barclay House seeks a dedicated General Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring exceptional resident service and strong financial performance.

This role requires a proven operations leader with a hospitality or senior living background, capable of guiding teams, driving occupancy, and maintaining a safe, well-maintained community. Competitive pay and a supportive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Two to four years of operations management experience, ideally in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, hospitality, restaurant, or retail management.
• Proven ability to meet financial goals and drive operational excellence.
• Strong history of coaching and developing team members.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with computer-based systems.
• Must meet the company Motor Vehicle Policy and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations with full profit and loss accountability.
• Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, development, scheduling, and performance management of team members.
• Execute sales and operational strategies in partnership with the Regional Vice President.
• Support and supervise the community’s sales efforts, including tours and census building.
• Ensure effective management of labor, occupancy, expenses, and budgets.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and promote a safe, well-maintained environment.
• Foster relationships with residents, families, team members, and partners.
• Monitor facility readiness and lead staff meetings for open communication.
• Provide on-call, overnight, and coverage support as needed.
