Job summary

Cedarhurst Beaumont in Lexington, KY seeks an Assistant Executive Director to lead daily operations under the Executive Director. You will supervise the business office, support financial management, resident relations, and community engagement, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company values.

In this role you’ll oversee staffing, billing, reporting, and family communications, stepping in for the Executive Director as needed.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of managerial experience in a senior care community.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and basic accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business office functions, including sales tours and community events.
• Assist in planning and implementing strategies for efficient community operation.
• Assist in development of the Operating and Capital Expenditure Budget and ensure financial goals.
• Prepare financial and operational reports on a regular basis.
• Serve as primary receptionist and support the Executive Director in management tasks.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and payroll data submission to HR.
• Maintain resident billing and accounts in the property management system.
