Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Missouri seeks an Executive Director to oversee daily operations and ensure resident services meet high standards. You will lead staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold Primrose Mission and Core Values.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field, and 3+ years in senior living with progressive supervisory responsibility. On-call duties and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, gerontology, business or related field.
• 3+ years in the senior living industry with supervisory responsibility.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and manage a budget.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local Assisted Living regulations.
• On-call 24/7 availability and strong communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across nursing, dining, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Build relationships with residents and families; promote open-door communication.
• Develop and administer the community budget; monitor expenses against parameters.
• Oversee business activities such as deposits, payroll and monthly bills.
• Provide leadership to department leaders; ensure policy compliance and Primrose values.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing staff training per state standards and Primrose standards.
• Evaluate performance and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
