Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking an experienced leader to guide operations across our senior living communities. You will oversee nursing, dining, housekeeping, maintenance, and resident engagement while upholding the Primrose mission and core values.

The role requires a healthcare, gerontology, or business degree, 3+ years in senior living, and proven supervisory and budgeting experience, plus knowledge of relevant laws. You must be available on-call to respond to community needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field preferred.
Three or more years in the senior living industry.
Experience in supervisory role with increasing responsibility.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local Assisted Living laws and regs.
Able to interpret financial statements and manage a budget.
Compliance with workers’ comp and OSHA reporting/documentation.
On-call 24/7 to respond to community needs.

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing care, resident engagement, dining, housekeeping, and maintenance for continuity and quality.
Foster relationships with residents and families; maintain open-door communication.
Develop and administer budgets; monitor food, supply, and labor costs.
Manage all business activities including deposits, rent, bills, and payroll.
Provide leadership to department heads and uphold company policies and core values.
Oversee onboarding and staff training to meet state and Primrose standards.
Evaluate department performance and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
