Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s LHC Group is seeking a part-time or PRN Occupational Therapist for a senior living community. The role provides age-appropriate OT services, including assessments, direct treatment, and supervision of COTA/tech, plus home exercise programs and patient-family instruction.

Direct patient care in a senior living setting with PI participation and documentation per dept standards. Strong licensure, driving/transport access, and CPR (preferred) are required or planned; competitive

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to determine rehab potential and creates an individualized plan of care.
• Sets initial STG's and LTG's and documents progress.
• Supervises treatment delivered by COTA or technician and coordinates with team.
• Provides home exercise program development and patient/family instruction.
• Engages in PI programs and ensures documentation meets department standards.
