Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Part Time Occupational Therapist based primarily in a Senior Living community. You will deliver age-appropriate OT services, conduct assessments, develop home exercise programs, and participate in team conferences, with supervision of assistants as needed.

Role includes direct patient care, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package. Licensed OT in-state is required; CPR preferred. Competitive compensation and two pay streams are described.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the patient to determine rehab potential and sets an individualized plan of care.
• Sets initial STG's and LTG's in the team plan of care.
• Utilizes equipment safely, maintains inspection and cleaning logs.
• Maintains equipment logs for outpatient clinic.
• Follows medical regimens and precautions (THR, TKR, Cardiac, Wound, etc.).
• Performs safe treatments: transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, paraffin bath, ultrasound, e-stimulation.
• Completes D/C summary on the final outpatient visit.
• Delivers care to patients across age groups regardless of background.
