Job summary

Sequoia Care is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida to provide outpatient services in senior living and related settings. The OT will assess, plan, and deliver therapy to improve ADLs, motor skills, and cognitive function, with flexible PRN hours and opportunities for varied clinical settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida OT license and a degree in Occupational Therapy, with strong documentation skills and a passion for resident care.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, clinical, and documentation skills.
• Current Florida OT license (required).
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification as per facility/state requirements.
• Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop customized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy to residents in senior living setting
• Focus on improving residents’ performance in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and cognitive function
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies
• Document progress and modify treatment plans based on resident response
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated care
