Sequoia Care in Florida is hiring licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to provide hands-on therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. This position focuses on outpatient care within senior living communities, with PRN/part-time on-site hours available.

Candidates should hold an OTA associate degree, CPR certification, and be capable of coordinating care with the team, documenting progress accurately, and adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an OTA program.
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Able to be accredited by all insurance payers.
• CPR certification as required by facility or state regulations.
• Strong documentation, time management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal-driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
