Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking an experienced Manager of Nutrition and Dietary Management (RD) to lead nutrition services and Health Center dining operations within a premier, not-for-profit senior living community in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This role blends clinical nutrition expertise with hands-on operational management to deliver high-quality, safe dining experiences for members.

The successful candidate will oversee nutrition care plans, guide dining teams, and ensure regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• RD credential and Florida licensure.
• Minimum five years of food service experience in healthcare or long-term care.
• Strong clinical nutrition assessment and care planning skills.
• Ability to lead employees and manage daily operations.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor weight trends, labs, dietary restrictions, and medication-nutrient interactions.
• Oversee therapeutic diets and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate menus and adjust to meet individual and population nutrition needs.
• Lead Health Center dining staff and oversee scheduling, payroll, and staffing.
• Coordinate menus, production planning, and dining operations across Health Center and Assisted Living.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare and food service regulations.
