Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking an RN/LPN licensed nurse to manage daily resident care in a PRN, non-remote role in Loveland, OH. You will supervise caregiving staff, coordinate shifts, and ensure adherence to care plans and physician orders.

The role requires an active state license and prior eldercare supervision experience. A positive, professional demeanor and strong communication with families are essential.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN/LVN or RN license.
• Experience working with elderly in healthcare settings.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate shifts.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily care of residents and ensures quality of care.
• Performs nursing tasks per policy and state law.
• Documents observations and ensures follow-up actions until resolved.
• Communicates resident needs to family and physicians.
• Coordinates with family, physicians and other providers.
• Records and implements physician orders.
• Ensures medication cart and records are accurate.
• Manages shift coverage and staffing duties as needed.
• Schedules and addresses staffing concerns and reports issues.
• Monitors staff performance for policy compliance.
• Assist in shift assignments and duty completion.
• Monitors care staff performance for policy compliance.
• Manages shift coverage when staff call in sick.
• Responsible for scheduling and staffing duties as requested.
• Handles family and visitor concerns and documents actions.

Essential Functions

• Monitors the daily care of all residents
• Performs skilled nursing tasks as defined by company policy and procedure, and as allowed by state law
• Documents observations, concerns, and changes in resident conditions, incidents, and/or accidents, and ensure that follow-up documentation occurs until the issue is resolved.
  
• Communicates resident needs and concerns to family members and physicians
  
• Communicate with family members, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers
• Records and implements physician orders
• Ensures that information and interventions recorded on resident service plans are implemented by Caregivers
• Ensures that Medication Aides are maintaining an orderly medication cart, medication room, and accurate medication administration records
• Receives reports from caregivers before the end of the shift
• Provides status reports to oncoming Staff
• Assist in shift assignments and ensures that assigned duties are completed in a satisfactory manner
• Monitors care staff performance for compliance with established policies and procedures, and to ensure quality resident care
• Manages shift coverage when staff members call in sick for the oncoming shift
• Responsible for scheduling and other staffing duties, as requested
• Deals appropriately with a family member and visitor concerns or complaints, documenting the issues and actions taken through the appropriate reporting mechanism
• Manages minor physical plant issues that arise during assigned shifts, reporting as necessary to Maintenance Director and Administrator

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Current state LPN/LVN or RN License if required by State
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a healthcare setting
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff
• Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
