Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care within the branch and ensure daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities include following MAR, using the eMAR system, and communicating with clinical leadership. Requires active certification or 1+ year senior care experience, CPR/First Aid, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to follow physician orders and MAR accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow resident MAR and physician orders for medication administration.
• Adhere to Six Rights of medication administration and policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for documentation.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford's Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
