Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration for residents. You will also provide direct personal care and engage residents in activities while coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to uphold the community’s standards.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of RCFE medication assistance, 18+ years old, HS diploma (LVN a plus), and ability to use MS Office. Vocational health requirements and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE).
• Based on state regulation, training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and departments.
