Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician - Assisted Living to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with nursing standards. The role also involves direct personal care, encouraging resident participation in activities, and collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of medication assistance in an RCFE or similar setting, with HS diploma or LVN considered a plus; proficiency in

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting
• Completion of training/certification may be required by state regulation
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests
• Vaccination and health-safety measures may be required per regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
