Job summary

Oakmont of Camarillo seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents and provide direct personal care. You will support activities, collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance, and uphold company standards.

The role requires at least 1 year experience in medication assistance in a RCFE, 18+ years old, and HS diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus. Training may be required by state regulations. Office software skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
