Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Medication Technician at Ivy Park in San Ramon, CA. This role supports residents by preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining confidential medication records.

Strong customer service and communication skills help foster a caring, safe environment for seniors. The position requires 1 year of experience with medications in a RCFE-like setting, HS diploma, and ability to pass background/ TB screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience assisting with medication in a residential care setting.
• Completion of state-required training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• LVN is a plus or preferred in some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment and encourage teamwork across departments.
