Job summary

Integral Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is seeking a Care Giver/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like community in California. The role involves daily living assistance, observation of health changes, and coordination with nursing staff to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, handling meals and hygiene, documenting changes, and assisting with medications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver: monitor designated residents during shift and check on them.
• Observe and report symptoms/changes in condition; document appropriately.
• Respond to call bells promptly and notify supervisor of increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and collect food trays; report refusals or appetite loss.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Promote independence, dignity, and safety; assist with activities of daily living.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities; greet all customers and staff.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
