Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga is seeking an attentive Assisted Living Medication Technician to support residents with medications and daily living needs in our welcoming senior living community.

You will administer and document medications per physician orders, monitor residents for changes, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates to the care team to ensure safety and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• HS diploma or GED.
• At least two years of caregiver experience or an active CNA license.
• Medication-related training and qualifications per California regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to resident safety and quality care.
• Previous medication technician experience in assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, assist with, and document medications per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions or changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate medication records, complete shift reports, and communicate updates to the care team.
