Job summary

Integral Senior Living seeks a dedicated Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care, emotional support, and a safe, home-like environment for residents under supervision of the Nurse and Health Care Coordinator.

The role involves daily living assistance, medication oversight, accurate documentation, and timely communication to ensure resident dignity and comfort within our California communities.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; monitor their location and check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions for changes in condition.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if a resident needs more care.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and activities; greet all visitors and staff.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
