Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Heritage Woods of Belvidere in Belvidere, IL. This full-time role on 1st shift involves maintaining resident safety, completing maintenance requests, and supporting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required.
• Prior senior living experience desired.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees safety program and maintains a secure resident home.
• Maintains preventative maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
• Completes maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently.
• Repairs, replaces, and/or installs minor equipment under direction.
• Maintains water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintains community plumbing systems and exterior areas.
• Performs fire and disaster drill activities with residents and team members.
• Engages with residents in a compassionate and supportive manner.
