Job summary

Ivy Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation in Waco, TX, seeks an experienced maintenance professional to ensure the safety and reliability of the center's facilities. You will perform regular safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and daily rounds to prioritize work.

This role emphasizes documentation, compliance with Life Safety and OSHA standards, and timely repairs. A High School diploma and 2 years in long-term care maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular, scheduled safety inspections.
• Follows Life Safety and Preventative Maintenance tasks in TELS and documents as required.
• Prepares monthly maintenance schedule and prioritizes tasks.
• Maintains center profile and documentation of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Maintains logs and documentation per Life Safety Manual and OSHA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair work.
• Conducts daily rounds and prioritizes work orders.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment and cleans/repairs components.
• Lubricates and maintains equipment and assists with repairs as needed.
