Job summary

Northcliff by Americare Senior Living in Lexington, TN is seeking a Maintenance Team Member for part-time or PRN work. The role pays $20 to $25 hourly and involves keeping buildings and grounds safe and well maintained in an Assisted Living community.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with preventive upkeep, and support resident comfort while coordinating with leadership. This position requires 18+, a High School diploma, and willingness to operate tools in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Perform routine and minor maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, wiring, and general repairs.
• Maintain furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and water systems to ensure resident comfort.
• Replace air-conditioner filters and complete monthly maintenance checklists.
• Assist with disaster preparedness and emergency readiness activities.
• Notify management of major repair needs involving lighting, HVAC, plumbing, or building systems.
• Remove snow, ice, debris, and hazards from sidewalks and grounds.
• Oversee landscaping services and assist with lawn care, trimming shrubs, and flower maintenance.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately.
