Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Daphne, AL to support the Maintenance Director. You will perform diverse tasks from completing work orders to maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment while prioritizing resident safety and quality upkeep.

Successful candidates will have at least 6 months in residential maintenance, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and light fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
• Maintain community areas, grounds, fences, parking areas, and equipment.
• Inspect building, grounds and equipment daily for safety and upkeep.
• Promote safety and identify potential hazards for residents and staff.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and log repairs.
