Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for The Brennity at Fairhope in Fairhope, AL. You will assist the Maintenance Director with daily upkeep of the community, building repairs, grounds, and equipment to keep residents safe and comfortable.

The role requires at least 6 months of residential maintenance experience, ability to read and write English, and the strength to lift up to 100 lbs. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in residential maintenance.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, lighting, and general maintenance.
• Strong reading/writing English and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance Director, including bulbs, filters, painting, and minor repairs.
• Maintain community areas, grounds, equipment, and service rooms for safety and aesthetics.
• Keep preventative maintenance records and use the work order system to track repairs.
• Promote safety for residents, visitors and staff; assist after hours as needed.
