Discovery Village Tallahassee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the community’s grounds and facilities. You will handle routine maintenance, repairs, and make-ready tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year maintenance experience required.
• Must be on-call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around community grounds and facilities.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment, and vehicles; timely and cost-efficient.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, furniture), painting, HVAC, and make-ready rooms.
