Job summary

Discovery Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time 7am-3pm shift at our Florida community. The role includes performing grounds and building maintenance, completing service requests promptly, and supporting daily operations to ensure safety and comfort for residents.

The position requires at least one year of maintenance experience, ability to respond to emergencies, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.
• Good knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergencies outside scheduled hours.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around community grounds and buildings.
• Complete service requests for repairs in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Handle repairs across walls, floors, furniture, fixtures, plumbing, electrical, appliances, painting, HVAC, carpeting and “make ready” tasks.
