Zusammenfassung

Casa de las Campanas is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to coordinate refurbishments and perform mechanical tasks in our senior living community in California. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with teams, and managing both routine and emergency maintenance tasks.

You will work largely independently, with responsibilities including painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and overseeing subcontractors to ensure high-quality refurbishments for new and existing residents.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical, Painting or Locksmith experience, Highly desirable.
• 4–6 years’ experience in commercial maintenance, journeyman level.
• Intermediate experience in the various trades required.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Must be able to work alone most of the time without direct supervision.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and operate multi-department refurbishment team.
• Prepare units for existing and new residents including removing items to standardize the unit and check systems/appliances.
• Perform maintenance duties including walls, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical repair and appliance installation.
• Oversee subcontractors for refurbishment projects with Physical Plant Coordinator.
• Perform painting and refurbishment projects as directed.
• Perform skilled preventative maintenance as directed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
• Prioritize work as directed by the Plant Coordinator.
• Participate in emergency drills and the 24-hour on-call program.
