Job summary

Vista Senior Living Management, through Cannon Rivers Senior Living, is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for full-time 1st shift in Cannon Falls, MN. You will assist with routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep.

Responsibilities include inspections, safety compliance, organizing tools, handling work orders, setting up rooms for events, and seasonal tasks. Must lift up to 50 lbs and be flexible for on-call maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in setting up rooms or equipment for special events or resident needs.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents to address maintenance concerns.
