Regent at Burnsville, managed by Cassia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle routine upkeep and repairs for a senior living campus in Burnsville, MN. The role runs days, with a full-time schedule Tue–Sat and on-call weeks; pay ranges hourly with experience.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma and basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills, plus strong communication. You will help keep common areas and grounds in good condition and support residents and staff with timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, and/or floor care preferred.
• Prior experience in senior living and/or assisted living would be helpful, but not required.
• Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work without a lot of supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduled preventative maintenance program.
• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
• Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
• Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
• Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
• Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.
• Perform other duties as requested.
