Job summary

Morada Senior Living in Bellaire, TX seeks a Facility Operations Assistant to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will perform routine maintenance tasks across buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED; technical school preferred; 1 year of maintenance/housekeeping experience; basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge; and the ability to multitask and work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance to complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles.
• Repair walls/floors, furniture, fixtures; basic plumbing/electrical work; painting and refurbishing.
• Assist in the preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with heating/air conditioning systems, water systems, pumps, refrigeration systems and electrical systems.
• Assist with fire safety and disaster preparedness evacuation procedures.
