Job summary

Morada Senior Living in Oklahoma City is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members. You will perform routine maintenance on grounds, buildings and equipment, including basic repairs and painting.

The role requires basic technical knowledge and the ability to handle multiple priorities while working independently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical school education preferred for maintenance roles.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
• Repair wall/floor coverings, furniture, basic plumbing, minor electrical, appliances, painting and refurbishing.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist with HVAC, domestic water systems, pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Conduct deep cleaning and prepare resident suites for occupancy.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
