Job summary

Saint Mary Home, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for hands-on building upkeep in a West Hartford facility. You will fix doors, lights, and plumbing; maintain HVAC and other systems; respond to staff and resident requests; assist room setups and furniture moves, and coordinate with outside vendors as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance or repairs experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in different conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic repairs like fixing doors, lights, and plumbing.
• Help keep heating, cooling, and other building systems running smoothly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
