Job summary

St. Paul’s, a Trinity Health Senior Communities facility, seeks an Environmental Service Technician (Building Maintenance) to maintain the physical condition and functionality of the long-term care environment.

You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and custodial tasks to ensure safety, comfort, and efficiency for residents, staff, and visitors. This full-time, day-shift role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus technical training in building maintenance and 2+ years of relevant

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Technical training in building maintenance is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, ideally in healthcare or long-term care.
EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and other critical equipment.
Address and resolve work orders promptly, including minor repairs to fixtures, doors, flooring, and furniture.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and inspections.
Assist in resident and staff maintenance requests and safety compliance.
