Job summary

Saint Mary Home, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic repairs, support building systems, and respond to requests from staff and residents in West Hartford, CT.

Day shift, full-time role with opportunities to work with outside vendors and assist with room setups. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in building maintenance with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of building maintenance experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in different conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic repairs like fixing doors, lights, and plumbing.
• Help keep heating, cooling, and other building systems running smoothly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Support room setups and furniture moves.
• Work with outside vendors when needed.
