Job summary

Oakmont of Riverpark, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the building, common areas, and resident units. The role supports healthful living through maintenance and safety, with a focus on teamwork and resident comfort.

You’ll handle electrical/plumbing/HVAC basics, assist with turnovers, and help maintain pool and grounds. The position requires good customer service and communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in maintenance, building upkeep, or housekeeping handling electrical, plumbing, and structural matters.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant, exterior and interior common areas, and resident units per company standards.
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds including pool and spa as applicable.
• Ensure a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
