Good Samaritan seeks an assisted living Maintenance Mechanic to perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner at Jackson Pines in Jackson, MN. The role requires basic mechanical knowledge and accurate use of hand tools, meters, and gauges in a clinical setting.

50-60% of time is spent at the assisted living facility with the remainder at the nursing home. Candidates should be able to interpret blueprints and read technical manuals, and be flexible for on-call needs

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record may be required.

Aufgaben

• Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Work in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of reach of children.
• Possess basic mechanical knowledge and use hand tools, meters, measuring devices and gauges.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Explain conditions clearly while troubleshooting and work as scheduled, including all shifts and hours.
