Good Samaritan in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a PRN Facilities Maintenance Assistant to perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner. The role supports the skilled living facility and requires basic mechanical knowledge and the use of hand tools, meters, and gauges.

Must be able to read blueprints/ schematics and work with minimal supervision. The job offers variable hours, daily earnings access, and a robust benefits package depending on status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years experience in building systems preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Work in patient/resident care areas with tools kept out of reach of children.
• Explain conditions and situations accurately while troubleshooting and maintain safety and efficiency of the department.
• May require working all shifts and hours as scheduled.
