Job summary

Provincial Senior Living in Richardson, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping duties across community grounds, buildings, and apartment homes, handling repairs and preventive tasks to keep resident spaces safe and welcoming.

The ideal candidate has one year of maintenance experience, is available on-call if needed, and can communicate clearly while juggling multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• One-year maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around community grounds as assigned.
• Carry out routine maintenance for repairs and upkeep of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment, and vehicles.
• Address tasks such as wall/floor repairs, furniture/work, basic plumbing, minor electrical, appliance repair, painting, HVAC, carpet and hard surface care, and make-ready rooms.
