Job summary

United Church Homes is seeking a Maintenance professional to oversee all areas of the OmahaCare Senior Living property, perform resident work orders, and troubleshoot appliances across units. The role involves coordinating with the Housing Manager to prepare vacant units for new residents and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year(s) of related maintenance experience.
• Maintenance certifications helpful; must obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Valid driver's license required if travel between locations.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas of the property and surroundings in a clean, safe, and well‑kept condition.
• Assists residents by completing work orders through the Housing Manager.
• Troubleshoots appliances and coordinates with office staff to ready units for new residents.
• Coordinates with outside vendors for large maintenance projects.
• On‑call 24/7 for emergencies and assists with annual budget planning.
