Job summary

Southminster in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech to help keep our senior living community safe and comfortable. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs, conduct routine checks, and help maintain dependable systems for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in property maintenance, preferably in multi-family, senior community or healthcare environment.
• Technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Makes repairs of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling equipment.
• Makes daily checks of equipment to assure proper operation.
• Conducts testing of emergency equipment and maintains logs.
• Reports equipment and supplies needed to perform tasks.
• Keeps mechanical rooms clean and in order.
• Other duties as assigned.
