Job summary

Southminster in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our campus safe, clean, and comfortable for residents, guests, and staff. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs and conduct daily equipment checks.

We offer competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour, medical and retirement benefits, paid time off, and on-site amenities. Applicants should have 5+ years of property maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property maintenance experience (preferred in multifamily, senior living, healthcare).
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling systems.
• Must safely use common maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, cooling, and building equipment.
• Complete daily equipment checks to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Test emergency equipment and maintain inspection/testing logs.
• Identify and report needed equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Keep mechanical rooms and maintenance work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide courteous, professional service while supporting a positive community environment.
• Demonstrate CARE First values in daily duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
