Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to keep resident areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You will assist the Maintenance Director with repairs, complete work orders, and participate in preventative maintenance; prior general maintenance experience preferred; Arizona Fingerprint Card, First Aid/CPR, TB test and valid AZ driver's license required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance or construction experience.
• Arizona Fingerprint Card.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• TB test within the last year.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices for plumbing, electrical, HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director in identifying repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs.
• Complete special projects as directed
