Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a friendly Maintenance Assistant to keep resident areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You will resolve resident inquiries, perform repairs, and support the maintenance team in daily tasks.

We offer full-time employment with starting pay of $20.00 per hour, benefits including medical, dental and vision, generous PTO, holidays, a 401(k), and on-demand pay options to access earned wages.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of general maintenance and/or construction work experience.
• Current First Aid / CPR certification.
• TB test within the last year.
• Valid driver’s license for state of Arizona.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hvac maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms and common areas.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs.
• Complete special projects as directed.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Assistant is in charge of keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
• Completed work orders from residents and staff
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
• Completes special projects as directed

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance and/or construction
• 1st AID / CPR Card
• TB Test within the last year
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the State
• Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc.
