Responsibilities

• Assist with work orders, preventive maintenance, and routine tasks to maintain the physical plant and keep the community campus looking well-kept and presentable.
• Provide building and grounds maintenance and housekeeping duties, as assigned by Environmental Services Director.
• Work with the Director on preventive maintenance, grounds maintenance, and general repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing, heating, lighting, floor care).
• Assist in ensuring community safety precautions are observed.
• Perform regular checks on all equipment and inventory assigned tools and supplies.
• Assist in conducting fire and disaster drills in accordance with law and policy.
• Ensure exit doors operate properly and are free from debris.
• Help other departments as needed and report situations to Director.
• Be polite to residents and assist with maintenance questions.
• Periodic cleaning of exterior windows.
• Assist in housekeeping duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Director.
