Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support Forsyth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in its maintenance team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents and staff, addressing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC needs.

The role requires dedication to seniors, a professional appearance, and strong communication. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC maintenance experience; training opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Fire and passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance Assistant, perform activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly facility; ensure repairs of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
• Assist in daily maintenance tasks to support resident safety and comfort.
