Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, IN. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor in upkeeping the community’s buildings and grounds to create a safe, attractive environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Day shifts with on-call duties every other weekend. Prior maintenance experience is preferred; knowledge of electrical, heating and cooling is helpful.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates CARE values to residents, families, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence).
• Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
• Help ensure a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff, and the public.
• Provide a supportive presence and teamwork to achieve excellent care for residents.
