American Senior Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Riverwalk Village in Indianapolis. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community’s facilities in good repair and safe for residents and staff.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with maintenance experience preferred. Eye for detail and reliability are valued traits for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred—drywall, plumbing, painting.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds, ensuring a safe, attractive living environment for residents, staff and the public.
