Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. invites applications for a Maintenance Director at Westmont of Santa Cruz, a new assisted living and memory care community. You will oversee facility maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and manage day-to-day operations to support residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of state and health regulations, hands-on maintenance skills, and strong organizational abilities. We offer competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and a team‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required
