Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Culver City, CA is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep of an assisted living and memory care community and lead maintenance staff.

The role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and timely repairs to maintain a comfortable, homelike environment for residents. Knowledge of state regulations, health laws, OSHA standards, and systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including follow-up, detail-oriented, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for an assisted living and memory care community.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all systems and facilities.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Handle routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and accessibility for residents and staff.
