Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Director for Westmont of Cypress, a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Cypress, CA.

You will oversee building systems, safety compliance, and day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents. Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of health codes, electrical/plumbing/HVAC, and a proven ability to multitask while leading a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.
• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.
• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee building systems in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure safety protocols and routine inspections are performed.
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with budgeting and vendor coordination as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe living environments for residents.

What we need from you:

• Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.

• Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes.

• Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems.

• Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task.

• Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair.

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community

• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test

• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
