Brenden Garden Senior Living in Springfield, IL is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will support the maintenance department, help keep the building safe, clean, and functional for residents and staff, and perform repairs under supervision as needed.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, a good work ethic, and a professional appearance. Prior LTC maintenance experience is highly preferred and a positive, energetic attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and some construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance department activities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain facility to be sanitary, attractive, and orderly; prevent hazards.
• Assist in practical repairs to electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
